Newsletter Volume 2.1 - February 3rd, 2008
Hello Again from Pittsburgh Designers!
This is just a newsletter to let everyone know what is new at Pittsburgh Designers and that we are celebrating our first year of operation (Jan 6th marked its first birthday!).
-
We have grown to have 128 registered members with 97 of those having active profiles. We have also racked up almost 27,000 page views. Not too bad for a small community website that has done zero in terms of marketing. I guess there really was a need for a project like this after all!
-
Since implementing the Job Board in June, we have had numerous design job postings added. This feature is clearly the most popular section on PghDesigners.com with it sometimes taking up over 50% of the page views for any given month. In celebration of it’s great success and our first birthday, I would like to offer an exclusive special offer to the members of this site. If you enter the discount code pghdesign anytime in 2008, you will receive $10 off the original posting price! If you want to keep up with the latest job postings, subscribe to it’s RSS feed here.
-
If you are one of the 25+ people who have registered, but have not yet had the chance to come back and complete your profile, I invite you to do so as soon as you can. PghDesigners.com can be used as a great marketing opportunity to help promote your design business and is the only site that offers details on just about every local design agency in Pittsburgh.
-
PghDesigners.com has two open slots for advertisers to become sponsors of this site. Your ad will appear on just about every page on this site - a great investment seeing as how our traffic has grown since day 1.
-
Also, as we continue to grow, it is important for active members to periodically reevaluate your profile’s contents to make sure that it contains the most current and relevant information for your business. You can log in to do that here.
If anyone has any questions or concerns about the site, don’t hesitate to contact me either by email or by the contact form.
Here’s to hoping that all your design businesses are more successful in 2008!
